Conveyancing Solicitors Guide

We believe it's important to help those in need. Because of this we support charities and organisations that help people and families who are either homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. We do this both through direct donations and through commercial support.

As well as financial help we also want to help in other ways such as raising awareness and helping to reduce the stigma attached to homelessness.

This means that whenever you use our services or the services of one of our third party providers money is going to charity.

There are many reasons that can lead to people find themselves homeless including:
  • financial difficulties
  • mental health problems
  • problems with addiction
  • the need to flee abuse or domestic violence
  • relationship breakdown
  • poverty
  • natural disasters

We support charities both here in the UK and abroad.

Railway Children The Railway Children
House Hop is proud to support the Railway Children.

Railway Children is a charity that helps vulnerable children living on the streets. Since 1995 Railway Children has helped thousands of children living alone and on the streets in the UK, India and East Africa.

For these children the streets are often the only means of support available, but this makes them incredibly vulnerable to abuse and exploitation.

The Homex House Building Project
This year we have pledged to pay for 10 homes to be built for homeless families in Mexico by the house building firm Homex.

And because Homex have agreed to match our pledge this means that a total of 20 families will be housed - in some cases for the first time in their lives.

The best thing about this programme is that the families themselves help to build their new homes. This means the programme is about more than just charity and the families have a true sense of pride and ownership once they move into their new homes!

We will keep you posted as to how things develop!
